Aloha House is dedicated to providing our men & women with a clean and sober living environment structured to facilitate their transition into both the recovering community and society at large. The goal for our residents is to provide them with affordable clean and sober housing which will nurture the development of a healthy recovering support system. |
 |
We have developed a 3-phase program, which, while providing structure and support, will also guide you to developing the tools necessary to eventually live in recovery on your own. We do require residents to attend 12 step meetings, abide by the curfew, attend our weekly house meeting and 12-step meeting, and adhere to our common sense house rules. Our recovering director, Kenny Munyon is a Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) and is on property daily to provide guidance and support. Aloha House managers live on sight and provide 24-hour assistance. We feel that the combination of these elements greatly increase your chances of achieving continuous recovery from drug addiction and alcoholism. |

What is a Halfway House?
A halfway house is a supportive clean and sober living facility. It can also be referred to as sober house, three-quarter way house, alternative living facility, 12-step house, recovery residence, sober living residence or clean and sober house. Typically, when a person has completed their treatment at a drug rehab or alcohol rehabilitation program, they would be referred to a halfway house. The halfway house would then serve as a transitional living environment in between treatment and living on your own or returning to your prior residence.
Many persons who seek to live in a halfway house do not necessarily come from a treatment program. They may be simply seeking, for a variety of reasons, to live, for a period of time, in a supportive clean and sober environment. At Aloha House, we welcome all persons seeking recovery. |
